Guardian Angels Motherless Babies Home celebrated its 25th anniversary on 28 December 2024, celebrating 500 nurtured children with Holy Mass, awards, etc.
Established in 1998, the home has been a sanctuary for abandoned and orphaned children, providing love and care to over 500 vulnerable lives. Founded under the leadership of Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike and managed by the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy (DMMM), GAMB has grown from humble beginnings to a modern home in Nwannedinamba Estate, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a nurturing environment.
Through the tireless dedication of its leaders, including Sr. Lucy Ohademere and Sr. Martin Agnes Ibewuike, the home has transformed countless lives, preparing children for brighter futures. With the support of local and international benefactors, GAMB remains a beacon of hope for vulnerable children.
