Our Current Matron: Sr. MartinAgnes Ibewuike

Since March 2017, Sr. MartinAgnes Ibewuike has been at the helm of Guardian Angels Motherless Babies Home (GAMB), guiding the home through a transformative phase. • Improved staff conditions and ensured better health outcomes for the children.
  • Secured awards for excellence in cleanliness, record-keeping, and child care.
  • Nurtured over 500 children, many of whom have achieved success in society, including a senior seminarian.

Community and Apostolate Contributions

Sr. MartinAgnes has extended her leadership beyond GAMB to enrich families and youth through her apostolate efforts. She established the Catholic African Family Life Care (CAFLiC) and Little Friends of Christ (LFC) groups, which aim to support family values and nurture the spiritual lives of children. In 2022, she organised the “Marriage Encounter” seminar, which helped strengthen married life and reclaim traditional family values. Her generosity and commitment to uplifting others are evident in her dedication to these initiatives.

Sr. MartinAgnes is committed to sustaining GAMB’s legacy of care and compassion. Her focus remains on creating a safe, nurturing environment while advancing self-sustainability through initiatives like poultry farming and fish ponds.
